The work
Our founders are clear: handing out food forever helps no one escape poverty. So our economic-upliftment programme sets able-bodied, unemployed men and women up in their own small enterprise — a corner shop, a sewing machine, a cart, a few goats — and mentors them until it stands on its own. One grant can end a family’s dependence on aid for good.
