Clean water now flows at the doorstep of another desert hamlet — dedicated in memory of a donor’s family.
Where there is no clean water, women and children walk miles each day, and waterborne illness is constant. A hand pump costs little and changes everything: clean water at the doorstep for a whole hamlet.
Each pump is numbered, photographed and dedicated. Pump no. 110 was installed this season in Tharparkar, Sindh.
